The V Summer School of Catalan Linguistics will take place from the 2nd to the 5th of September 2025 in Berlin, Germany.

EDELC aims at offering training in Catalan linguistics to undergraduate and postgraduate students, with special attention to students from universities outside Catalan-speaking areas who have an interest in Catalan or have already begun to investigate some aspect of its linguistics. In addition to the introductory courses in different areas of Catalan linguistics, EDELC 2025 will include tutorials dedicated to specific aspects of the courses and a space for the presentation of work by students, which will enable direct interaction with specialists. In this way, EDELC will promote the collaboration, co-supervision and the creation of a mentoring network in Catalan linguistics. With the objective of promoting the research in this specific field, V Aina Moll Award will be given to the best student paper. This award is granted by the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics as a recognition of this philologist and linguist.
